Resources for High Schools
Adapted from the acclaimed Bringing in the Bystander® College Prevention Program, developed at the University of New Hampshire's Prevention Innovations Research Center, the Bringing in the Bystander High School Prevention Program launched following extensive evaluation at 26 high schools.
Coupled with the Know Your Power® Social Media Marketing Campaign, and Soteria's extensive training, consulting, and evaluation services, you can build a comprehensive program for your school or district.
Bringing in the Bystander High School Prevention Program
An in-person educational program that encourages participants to become positive bystanders in instances of sexual and interpersonal violence and harassment. Participants learn to identify problem situations; they also learn practical skills for safe and effective intervention. BITB High School was evaluated at 26 high schools, funded in part by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Know Your Power, an image-based social marketing campaign, portrays realistic and provocative scenarios that highlight the important role of all community members in ending sexual and interpersonal violence and harassment. Learn more
Evaluation and Consultation
Soteria can provide your school and partners with technical assistance focused on the development, implementation, and evaluation of prevention tools and frameworks, compliance strategies, survivor services, research measures and strategic planning — all of which can help you more effectively address sexual and interpersonal violence and harassment in your community. For example:

- Build capacity to comply with Title IX, VAWA, the Clery Act, Title VII, and state laws.
