Third Annual Report Released – We are Proud to Be Recognized

The Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education recently released its third annual report which summarizes work from the past year (2022) including work done by members and partner organizations. Soteria Solutions is proud to be recognized in the annual report for evidenced-based solutions to address and prevent sexual harassment and violence.

Our work was featured as part of recognizing more than 40 descriptions of work from member organizations and partner network organizations.

Recognition of Soteria Solutions included: “In their efforts related to bystander intervention programs and civility/respect promotion programs, one organization developed curriculum for learning about norms and policies, increasing understanding of how different identities shape workplace culture, and building bystander and communication skills (Soteria Solutions-1). This same organization also took the added step to build these curricula or trainings to connect to organizational mission/values (Soteria Solutions-2).”

Background

The Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education is an initiative where over 55 colleges, universities, and other research and training organizations are identifying, researching, developing, and implementing efforts that move beyond basic legal compliance to evidence-based policies and practices for addressing and preventing all forms of sexual harassment and promoting a campus climate of civility and respect.

The Partner Network of the Action Collaborative provides an additional opportunity for collective sharing across colleges and universities, research entities, higher education associations, grassroots and non-profit organizations, federal agencies, national laboratories, industry, and other stakeholder organizations.
