Chelsea Keller-Elliott, MS, LMFT

Chelsea Keller-Elliot joined Teach For America in 2009 and continued teaching science and math until 2013. Chelsea received a master’s degree and licence in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016 and practiced as a clinician. In 2017, Chelsea joined the Network Health and Prevention Program at the University of Rochester, where the role has continued as the Director of Training and Curriculum. This work focuses on research and implementation for upstream suicide and substance abuse prevention. Chelsea adapts their evidenced-based curriculum for a variety of settings including workplaces, churches, schools and the US Air Force, in addition to training new facilitators in providing the programs. Previously Chelsea worked on behavioral health research teams with focuses on safe-sex practices, behavioral support for at-risk youth and coping for families with a childhood cancer diagnosis.
