Our Bringing in the Bystander®: Trauma-Informed Training for Prevention Program Delivery has been approved by D-SAACP & NACP for Continuing Education (CE) hours toward advocate credential renewal.

Eligibility: Registrants must belong to an organization that has a current Bringing in the Bystander® Military Curriculum license, which does not expire within 6 months of training dates.*

Description of event: Two-Day Live Virtual Train-the-Trainer Workshop
Overview/Summary:
This two-day live online train-the-trainer workshop will train facilitators to implement the Bringing in the Bystander® Military Version Prevention Program*.
Attendees will gain the skills to facilitate the program themselves as well as adapt and implement the curriculum for the Cannon AFB.
Over the two days, participants will
Receive an overview of the BITB curriculum with experienced trainers.
Apply trauma-informed facilitation skills.
Learn strategies for adapting BITB to unique Cannon AFB.
Understand the facilitation and adaptation of the BITB College curriculum.
Practice bystander intervention strategies.
Expand professional networks with other attendees.

Target Audience: (who should attend?): Trainers who will be implementing the program and training others to facilitate within Cannon AFB, and facilitators (people who will be delivering the program to participants)

Video/Audio: This training requires attendees to have a microphone and a web camera. Attendees should be ready to attend this highly interactive training with videos and microphones on. Small group breakout sessions will occur so attendees should be comfortable interacting virtually with trainers and other attendees.
